eRedbook now Available Nationwide

News nationwide

Date: 01 July 2020

Ahead of the January deadline for trusts to offer parents a digital redbook and following a successful rollout of eRedbook across London, eRedbook is now on national release available to trusts and organisations commissioned to provide maternity and health visiting services across England.

"20% of babies in England"

London rollout gives around 20% of all babies born in England from 2019 onwards access to a connected eRedbook. Rollout in London included onboarding of Health Visiting services in 32 London boroughs and maternity services in 18 acute trusts, and an education program that spanned around 1500 GP practices supported by NHS England London Regional team.

The eRedbook team are now openly encouraging organisations to get in contact about rollout of eRedbook in their area as part of the national deployment across England. Onboarding of eRedbook is light-weight and simple requiring low level IT setup, updating SOPs and internal procedures, and training staff for which there is an online elearning module made available to deploying organisations. Onboarding takes around 6-8 weeks at the end of which parents and professionals can begin to use eRedbook.

"used widely for COVID response"

eRedbook has been used widely in London as part of COVID response and can help trusts looking for a remote working solution See blog post supporting parents remotely during COVID 19 for more information.
